The four Largent siblings have settled into their newly remodeled farmhouse outside the growing town of Deep Springs, Texas. Jacob, the oldest, has shown a stark change after abandoning his atheistic views. Having converted to Christianity, his firm commitment to follow Jesus Christ thrusts him into an explosive situation resulting from his desire to include a new friend into his church fellowship. The townspeople are astir as many experience the rekindling of old wounds. Prejudice quickly spirals into hateful acts that threaten the very lives of those wrongly targeted.
