- PorteuX is a Linux distro based on Slackware, inspired by Slax and Porteus with a goal to be super fast, small, portable, modular and immutable.
- Pre-configured for basic usage, including lightweight applications for the Cinnamon desktop environment.
- PorteuX takes simplicity to another level & doesn't require installation. Instead, it runs as a live distribution from RAM.
- Out of the box, there is no web browser installed. but you can open the PorteuX App Store and install one of eight browsers. Just click the browser of your choice and it will be installed and ready to go.
