<i><b>64 Voices</b></i> is a compilation of personal stories and experiences of sixty four girls from around the world. The objective of this book is to empower young women to share their voices and inspire to drive social change. Another goal of this book is for girls to know they are not alone and use the ideas shared here to make systemic changes in our societies. While this book includes 64 voices, they tell the stories of millions of girls around the word.<br><br>This compilation is a result of the social justice work done by the author Anya Sen as part of her nonprofit organization, <i>Uplifting-Her</i>, that promotes the cause of girls' education and wellbeing. Each of the sixty four contributors, aged 11 to 28, talk about struggles and challenges they have faced growing up. The contributors to this book span eleven countries around the world and eight states within the United States of America. Three of the entries have been translated into English after interviews were conducted with their contributors in Hindi, their native language.<br><br><i>Anya Sen is a New York based activist promoting girls’ wellbeing and education since 2015. She encountered the story of Malala Yousafzai and her fight for girls’ education in her 2nd grade and was deeply moved. Inspired by her compassion and desire to make a change, Anya started engaging in social justice work, and has collaborated with several not-for-profit organizations before founding her own organization called Uplifting-Her. Anya's work involves creating awareness and bringing together shared experiences from individuals in their local communities. She has worked to create multiple online and local communities that provide safe spaces for girls and young women to discuss their thoughts, feelings, ideas, experiences and stories.</i>
