- DIY INSTALLATION - If you're mechanically inclined, the IAG I-Line Heavy Duty Winch Mount should be a straightforward task that can be completed in approximately 2 hours. There is no cutting or drilling required to install the mount to the Modular Bumper, though the Capable bumper does require permanent modification. While the entire job can be done with a good set of ratchets and hand tools, it will go faster with an impact wrench and sockets.
- CAPABLE BUMPER MODIFICATIONS - If you have a Capable Bumper, you’ll need to make a couple of permanent modifications to fit the IAG I-Line Heavy Duty Winch Mount. This task would only be suited to someone with advanced mechanical abilities, and the willingness to perform modifications to the factory bumper. To gain the additional clearance needed to install the mount to the OEM bumper horns, the tow cover assemblies will need to be removed, cut and trimmed to fit the new tow hook mounts on both sides.
