The gel packs are frozen for about an hour or warmed up for 30-40 seconds. The large pocket on the front, holds essential items like cellphone, remote control, snacks etc. The straps and buckles securely hold the pillow in place. A reusable bag is included for easy portability and storage of the pillow and gel packs.
