- The Viltrox 23mm f1.4 Z-mount autofocus lens consists of 10 lenses in 9 groups, including 2 Extra-low Dispersion (ED) lenses and 2 High Refractive Index (HRI) lenses to suppress chromatic aberration and control spherical aberration.
- A "noiseless" stepper motor (STM focus motor) is used to drive the autofocus unit, providing fast, nearly silent and accurate autofocus performance, as well as full-time manual focus control.
- To adjust the aperture automatically, turn the aperture knob at the bottom of the lens to A, i.e. the camera controls the aperture; to adjust it manually, turn the aperture ring at the bottom of the lens directly by hand.
- Ruggedly constructed with an all-metal body, the lens features a weather-resistant design with three layers of protection and weather sealing for working in harsh conditions.
