- BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Febco Lead-Free Bronze Y Pattern Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly provides the ultimate mechanical protection against cross-connection contamination hazards. It is specifically designed to prevent the reverse flow of high-hazard (toxic) fluids found in the water from contaminating potable water systems due to back-siphonage.
- COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: This assembly is constructed with a highly durable lead-free bronze, cast copper silicon alloy body, ensuring long-lasting performance and compliance with industry standards. It is equipped with threaded quarter-turn ball valves, test cocks, spring-loaded Y pattern check valves, and a hydraulically dependent differential relief valve. It has a maximum working pressure of 175 Psi (12.1 bar) and a hydrostatic test pressure of 350 psi.
- VERSATILE APPLICATION: This assembly is ideal in health hazard continuous pressure applications, including water services to industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants. It is also used in irrigation systems, boiler feeds, water lines, and other installations where maximum protection is essential.
- INLINE SERVICEABLE: The assembly is equipped with a modular relief valve and internal parts that are serviceable in line from the top of the unit for easy maintenance. It also has replaceable seat rings for longer valve life.
