- Nessler tubes are standardized glass tubes used to fill with standard solution colors for visual color comparison with similar tubes containing solution samples
- Shadow-less bottom transmits undistorted light; no dark spots form when tube is filled with liquid and viewed from the top using a light source beneath the tube
- Standard taper cap style stoppers need not be removed to take readings; "Shadow-less" is printed on the side of the stopper to distinguish these stoppers
- Rings and legend are durable white ceramic enamel; rings coincide with specific volumes of liquid
- Supplied in a matched set of 6; graduated ring scale of any tube will not vary by more than 1.5mm from that of any other tube within the set
