- Yellow Dock Root, (Rumex Crispus) is a common perennial plant that is often found both in waste areas and cultivated ground. The flower stalk grows to about 3 feet tall, and has smooth leaves that may be curled. Towards the end of the growing season it sends up flowers and seeds that cluster on branched stems
