- 5/16” hardened steel contacts and backstop are precision ground, lapped flat, and keyed to maintain orientation of faces, and adjustable backstop for centering workpiece
- Double row of graduations read in opposite directions, with minus graduations printed in red and plus graduations printed in black for readability
- Indicator face rotates 360 degrees and locks in place, for reading from any direction
- Fine adjustment screw provides zeroing
