AMO length is commonly used in reference to the overall bow length following the curvature of the limbs. In most cases, AMO will be printed on the bow along with the peak draw weight. Industry standard suggests a 4″ difference between the AMO length and the Actual Length for a Recurve. However, there are manufactures that use other AMO differences. - MULTIPLE STRAND OPTIONS – Choose from 12, 14, or 16 strands to suit your archery needs. Fewer strands provide a smoother shot while more strands offer increased power and strength. Recommended: Up to 30 lbs. (12 strands), up to 40 lbs. (14 strands), and 40+ lbs. (16 strands). Not sure? Choose 16 strands for compatibility with all draw weights.
