Product Information
- Bomba rice is known for its starchy center, which allows it to absorb up to three times its volume in liquid while retaining its shape and separate grains. It's also less likely to become sticky or thicken the cooking liquid than other short-grain rices.
- Bomba rice is ideal for paella, but can also be used in other dishes that require loose, separate grains, such as Valencian paella, seafood paella, and rice dishes with broth.
- When cooking bomba rice, you should use a little more stock than other rice dishes, typically a ratio of 3.5 parts stock to 1 part bomba rice.
