When I was received my MS diagnosis on May 09,2011 my prognosis was I would have 5 years until I was in a wheel chair and probably 10 years until I died to the effects of the disease. The disease causes the white brain matter or the central nervous system to demilenage or become 'stripped" so it can no longer receive the messages of the brain or transfer to the body. It is much like when an electricain strips a wire to conduct elecricity from the the outlet in the wall t (BRAIN) to the light or object (the body), as this process in my body progressed, which I told it would, over time these would be the lasting effects! Anyone who knows me or the way I think, I would not accept this. I am VERY STUBBORN, beleived in the bodys ability to heal naturally (thanks to my up brining) and I believe if you thought about what you wanted, it has to come true (because that IS WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS) At the time of the diagonisis, I was 39 years old and just finishing my first year of chiropractic scool, it was a second career choice after my husband and I simutaneously lost out jobs in 2008. I knew if I didn't get back to school now, I never would, it was a life long dream since I left school in 1991. SO, I sat in my hospital bed alone, after receiving the diagnosis, and asked GOD, WHY??? WHY NOW? I finally had my life and carrerr figured out and now this!? WHY? I clearely heard at that moment 2 things: 1. I wouldn't bring you anything you can't handle or get though 2. YOU will be your first patinet, you have to reverse this so you can help many others that will come to you for the answers. All I knew at that moment was the Chiropractic philophy which was "if you remove interferetnce form the body, it will HEAL on its owo" It becmae time to put this belief I had my whole life to the untmate test! My journey began, with an absolute expectation that I was going to get though this to hellp more people once I suceeded! This story is what I bring you in the book BELEIVE, people have to begin again to trust their bodies and the healing power that lives in your body! Nothing on the outside, no medicine or surgery can heal the body ONLY you can....your need to activate this healing from the inside out! This is the way I sucessfullly reversed the dibilitating symptoms and prognosis giving to me with my MS diagnosis.
