AMO length is commonly used in reference to the overall bow length following the curvature of the limbs. In most cases, AMO will be printed on the bow along with the peak draw weight. Industry standard suggests a 4″ difference between the AMO length and the Actual Length for a Recurve Bow. However, there are manufactures that use other AMO differences. The double-served loop ends ensure consistent loop size for reliable performance.
- Perfect Fit for Recurve Bows – Designed to fit all modern and traditional style recurve bows with a 1 3/4" top loop and 1 1/4" bottom loop for a secure and precise fit. While they may fit, loop sizes are not recommended for longbows or narrow-limb bows.
- MULTIPLE STRAND OPTIONS – Choose from 12, 14, or 16 strands to suit your archery needs. Fewer strands provide a smoother shot while more strands offer increased power and strength. Recommended: Up to 30 lbs. (12 strands), up to 40 lbs. (14 strands), and 40+ lbs. (16 strands). Not sure? Choose 16 strands for compatibility with all draw weights.
