1.Put the bottom piece on the table, recessed side face up
2.Put the side of the cake pan around the bottom
3.Pull the lock to close, check if it is in place
4.Place a parchment paper liners if you're concerned about leaking before adding batter
5.When finish baking, pull the lock way back and the bottom will release, then you will get the good shape cake
