All the sermons and illustrations used throughout these pages are the author's writings after 30-plus years in the pastoral ministry. They are taken from a vast library of sermons I have stored over the years. The scriptures are taken from the King James Version of the Bible.

I wrote this book because of the Negro losing his identity in a world of self-righteous people (in my opinion) of not wanting their younger generation to know fully the history that surrounds the Deep South.

Many historical facts happened in this world that people are trying to erase and will erase from our history books that future generations will never read or know.

This is a tiny segment of what happened to me as I grew up in a small town in Alabama. I knew the times and adapted to them as many Blacks did during the time of interracial turmoil.

Preaching is my primary love; I have learned to treasure it over the years. I wonder why God would call such a person as myself to preach to a lost and dying world.

It took me a while to adjust, but through the years, God has blessed me with all I needed to do His will. If people do not turn from their wicked ways, they will be forever separated from their creator.
