- 【Adjustable Emissivity】 The emissivity range of the thermometer gun is 0.1 to 1, and the default emissivity is 0.95. You can adjust the emissivity according to different materials by pressing the up and down buttons of the temp gun to make the measurement more accurate. When measuring shiny metal surfaces, cover the surface to be measured with opaque tape. Measure the temperature of the tape surface when the tape reaches the same temperature as the surface it covers.
