I have long entertained the idea of writing a book - a memoir to share the the story of my life and my thoughts on Buddha Dharma. Driven by the force of karma, we encounter fears, pains, difficulties throughout our cyclic existence. Without a deep understanding of and practice in the Dharma rooted in faith, suffering will inevitably arises when we confront life’s challenges.<br><br>However, with the blessings and guidance of the Dharma, we can discover solutions to our afflictions. In sharing my personal experiences, I aim to illustrate how a person with unwavering faith in the Dharma approaches emotional struggles and suffering. I explore how someone who comprehends and practices the Dharma views life, death, and the path to resolution. For me, faith embodies courage and spiritual strength. In Mahayana Buddhism, a Bodhisattva embodies not only love and compassion but also courage and fearless. A Bodhisattva does not shy away from hardship, difficulties, or even death. By following this path, we can genuinely overcome life’s challenges.<br><br>When we accept suffering and turbulent emotions with an open mind, facing them with courage, wisdom and compassion, we truly embody the essence of a Dharma practitioner. I haven’t always been a brave person or a highly accomplished practitioner. Instead, I’m an ordinary Buddhist with simple faith in the Buddha Dharma. Throughout history, great masters like Je Tsongkhapa and even our fundamental teacher, Buddha himself, achieved remarkable feats through courage and bravery. Their legacy, passed down through generations, allows us to access the wisdom of the Buddha Dharma even in our modern era
