Tips Before Using

Step 1:Clean the mortar and pestle with warm water to ensure it is free dust ,then let it air dry .(Avoid using soap .)
Step 2: Seasoning the mortar with white dry rice, grinding until it turns into powder ,then drop out the powder .we suggest you repeat the step 2 times Which helps remove dust of mortar pestle and polish the mortar slightly .
Step 3: Adding garlic, cumin, salt and pepper then grind. Rmove all mixing ingredients then clean it with warm water and let it air dry completely. (Avoid using soap as it may flavor the food.)

NOTE: This product is made of natural stone and its color and structure may be uneven. White/beige color vertical or horizontal lines that may look visually like cracks are parts of natural stone and not a defect. If you gently rub the area with the finger and it is smooth then it's not a crack, otherwise you would feel unevenness or even sharpness of the edge of a crack.
