- EASY INSTALL – The water pipe heat cable comes with instructions and can only be used straight, no spiraling, crossing, or overlapping. Simply lay the cable straight along the water pipe and secure it
- Tips: Testing the cable before the installation. Uncoil it with no overlaps. Place the thermostat part in an ice bucket for a few mins. When the temp is below 41 °F, the thermostat kicks in and the cable heating wire starts to get electrified and heat up. In a few mins, you can feel the heat, showing the heating wire works fine, and it's okay to install. Note: don't keep the cable plugged in for testing too long. When you feel a bit of warmth, turn it off
