TIP: If there is a problem with the valve turning and turning (the threads on the stem are no longer engaged).
Then loosen the nut under the stem, push down on the stem and rotate the stem clockwise to re-engage the threads on the stem.
Then tighten the nut on the stem upwards. If you over tighten the nut, the stem will not turn in either direction.
