I started Coastal Shaft Collars in 2021 as a side hustle to my mechanical engineering job that involved designing equipment for the food processing industry. We used thousands of collars a year and a few things bugged me. The quality of the foreign collars we were using always seemed to be subpar and the price was high for what we were getting. I set out to make collars onshore using high-quality stainless steel and spending the extra time to make sure I’m delivering a first-rate product. Every edge and hole is deburred to reduce/eliminate the risk of cuts. The country of origin and bore size is engraved to make identification easy. Finally, every collar is rinsed, washed and dried to remove any oil residue from the machining process. My hope is that you enjoy the fit and finish of my collars as much as I enjoy making them.

- Versatile Mounting Options: These shaft collars feature flats on the outer diameter with tapped holes, allowing for easy mounting of brackets, sensors, hinges and other components to round objects. These are frequently used to attach components to roll cages, mount air cylinders to base plates, and attach sensors and control boxes to round bar or tubing.

These two-piece stainless steel shaft collars have an inside diameter of 0.625 inches, an outside diameter of 1.313 inches and a thickness of 0.438 inches. Each collar is deburred and engraved with its inside diameter bore for easy identification.
