The JJC LH-SH153 Bayonet Lens Hood is designed for the E 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS lens. It helps prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. It is crafted from ABS plastic material and features a non-glare matte finish on the interior surface to limit lens flare further. The hood allows you to put on a 55mm filter and a 55mm lens cap. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of extra protection from accidental impact.
