- Important measuring notes: The cellular shade listed measures 22.5 inches wide. If you choose to inside mount, and your window frame size is between 22.625 to 23 in. wide this window shade is recommended. A wider window and there will be more of a light gap, a more narrow window and the cellular blind will likely not fit; in these cases please refer to our other size options. Please consult more detailed measuring instructions for inside or outside mounting within the product images section.
- Insulating cellular design: Our window shades' honeycomb construction traps air in the honeycomb sections and provides insulating benefits for your home by reducing air leaking through your windows. The honeycomb-pleated design keeps cool inside during warmer months and warm air inside during colder months, which can help provide thermal benefits and lower your energy bills.
- Blackout & privacy: This blackout cellular shade blocks out 100% of incoming light, while also offering 100% privacy. In order to get the full benefits of the blackout material, we recommend an outside mount where the width of the window shades overlaps your window frame by at least 1" on each side to account for light coming in from the sides of the blackout shade. For an inside mount, make sure your shade is only slightly smaller than your window recess to minimize any light gap.
- Cordless lift - Safe for pets & children: Our innovative cordless shade lift system makes it easy to raise and lower your shade to your desired precise height as the pleats lengthen and shrink in an accordion style. Our honeycomb blind utilizes a pulley system that allows you to pull down or push up the bottom rail to get your desired height. - Easy installation with hardware included: Calyx Interiors' cordless cellular shades include all hardware for mounting inside or outside a window frame along with easy-to-follow instructions. The mounting brackets for your honeycomb blind attach to the headrail and can be screwed into your wall, or towards the top of your window recess for an inside mount. Note that the cellular shade brackets do not allow for side mounting.
