- Simplified Installation: Easy installation, direct replacement. Once this regulator is installed into your device, you will need to adjust it properly. This requires a high-quality digital voltmeter and a small flat-blade screwdriver. After installing the new voltage regulator, determine if the frequency is correct. Set the mechanical speed regulator to 62Hz (no load). Set the electronic speed regulator to 60Hz (no load). After making sure the frequency is correct, measure the AC output. Voltage should be 124VAC (62Hz, no load) or 120VAC (60Hz, no load). Keep in mind that the above voltages are for Single Phase 120/240V systems only!
