The Microchip Activated Cat Flap offers great flexibility for both you and your pet. With its advanced selective entry technology, our Microchip Activated Cat Flap has been designed to allow your cat easy access to the outside world whilst keeping other cats and animals out of your house. It works by reading your cat’s unique microchip or Closer Pets ID Disc. The 4-way locking system (locked, open, in only, out only) allows you to control the level of access you want your cat to have so that your pets come and go as you please! In standard operation, this will allow any cat to leave the house, but only programmed cats to enter. This cat flap is easy to programme with just a touch of a button. The LED indicator will flash when your cat’s microchip or I.D. disc is registered. This cat flap is compatible with all common microchips and can register up to 30 cats. It is suitable for glass windows and doors up to 85mm thick. For walls, a Closer Pets Elite Wall Liner is available separately. It also comes with a draft and weatherproof brush sealed flap with magnetic closure for energy efficiency. The cat flap requires 4 x AA batteries (not included) which provide up to 12 months of operation. It includes a low battery indicator.
