- This Glazes fire to a smooth, glossy finish at a witness Cone 6. Always slow fire lead free glazes for best results. Glazes flow slightly during firing to a high gloss finish, while correcting most application imperfections. Glazes are formulated for brushing application. They may also be adjusted to work in pouring, dipping, and sponging applications. Liquid glazes are a popular choice for school teachers and classroom settings.
- Your ceramic kiln must be temperature calibrated to confirm it is firing at the target temperature / cone. Over-firing will damage the piece and possibly the kiln. Under-firing will give you ugly results that will not look like the swatch image.
- Pottery glaze must be fired in a pottery kiln at the correct temperature. Do not fired in a kitchen oven.
