The unique design of Volcano Fire Starters allow them to burn with flames up to 10 inches with a flame equivalent to up to 8 tumbleweeds fire starters with zero petrochemicals. Unlike other plant based fire starters that burn with small flames and produce little heat, one Volcano Fire Starter can light logs up to five inches thick and over five pounds of charcoal! So go ahead and enjoy delicious meals with the peace of mind that your food is cooking over a clean burning fire. Our fire starters are proudly made in the USA and they burn for 15-20 minutes. Volcano fire starters are used to light bonfires, charcoal grills, fire pits, fireplaces, campfires, wood stoves, beach fires and other wood fires indoors and outdoors. Only light when you're ready for a big fire or you'll burn through all your wood or charcoal too fast! Please note that packaging may vary. Also, there may be a chance that the proprietary oil and wax mix the starters use as fuel may seep lightly into packaging. This is absolutely normal due to high temperatures in the shipping process and will in no way impact the performance of the fire starter.

- MAKE YOUR WOOD FIRE PIT OR CHIMNEY AS EASY TO LIGHT AS A GAS FIRE PIT- Set up your large logs for a multi-hour fire, light and sit back and enjoy!! Just follow our super simple two step process: 1) Form a square around the starter with four logs of similar diameter to the starter (approx. 4-5 inch diameter) 2) Light the center of the starter and add all the large logs as desired on top of the four logs. Just sit back and our starters will do the rest! No need to split any wood, fan any flames, or add any larger logs as the small logs and kindling burns up. Wood fires don't get any easier than that!
- ONLY FIRE STARTER SO POWERFUL THAT IT REPLACES 50% OF THE WOOD NEEDED TO START A FIRE- We were all taught to light fires the same way: start small with kindling, small sticks and medium sized logs, and once those are lit, add the larger logs. This setup, however, means that about half the wood used to get a fire going is used solely to light the large logs. Now with our patent-pending design, one of our premium starters is enough to replace all the kindling, small and medium sized logs so you can start a fire with the large logs from the get go. Yes, they are that powerful! Just set up the large logs, light the starter and watch it all burn while using 50% less wood!
- LIGHT UP TO 180 FIRES PER PACK (18 PER STARTER)- Are you in a wet and windy environment with little kindling and mostly large logs? No problem, use the full starter. Do you have mostly dry wood, small logs and lots of kindling? Just unroll the starter and cut it into smaller rolls or as small as two inch strips to easily light up to 18 plant-based fires!
- WHAT GOES INTO YOUR FIRE IS WHAT GOES INTO YOUR LUNGS AND FOOD- Our starters are made from coconuts, soy and eco-friendly, unbleached, uncoated brown kraft paper that gets its color directly from the wood pulp. We never use paraffin wax (an oil product) or any petrochemicals. We take our product being a natural fire starter very seriously which is why we only use plant based fuels. We also believe that transparency is key to our customers being able to have peace of mind knowing exactly what they are using to light their wood or charcoal.

- LIGHT WOOD BURNING STOVES EXTREMELY FAST WITH 50% LESS WOOD- Due to their limited space, wood stoves usually requiring lighting the kindling first as a separate step before lighting the large logs. This adds 10-15 minutes to the amount of time it takes to get a full fire going. With our premium starters, you can completely skip this step and just light the large logs directly from the start! Just place the full starter under large logs, light the center of the starter and leave it and you'll have a roaring log fire in no time! (Note: Use less than the full starter if wood is kiln dried, store bought or very dry)
- NO PARAFFIN WAX- Unlike our competitors that say their products are "natural" or "food grade" but still use paraffin wax, we don't use paraffin wax for anything! Paraffin wax is a petroleum byproduct, even when it's food grade wax. If a company won't tell you what type of wax they use, feel free to assume it's paraffin and not as "natural" as they claim!
