- Many types of welding rods require use of an oven to follow quality laws and regulations. Check chart below to verify if you need an oven for the electrode type you use
- Not using an oven on rods which require one can lead to slag inclusion, porosity, and undercut, but most notably this can cause cracking which leads to structural failures and lack of air tightness
- Max Temperature 300°F | This oven has a max temperature of 300°F, which is the perfect temperature for rods such as 7018, 316L, and 6018.
- Lid Locks Shut | The lid has a latch mechanism which protects you from accidentally exposing your electrodes to the elements
- Plugs Into Most Outlets | Standard wall plug will plug into almost any outlet with no issue
