- Easy to use:you need a large pot, which you fill with water. Then place the circulator in the pot and attach it to the edge of the pot using the clamp. The water level must not exceed the MAX level line and not be below the MIN level line on the circulator. Then add the sealed food to the pot. When the power cord is connected, cooking starts. The basic setting is a cooking time of two hours with a temperature of 55 °C. But this can be easily adjusted.
- Clear display:The circulator has a clear display that shows temperature and cooking time. During heating, the display shines red, when the set temperature is reached it changes to green. Both temperature and cooking time are adjusted on the display.
- Cooking in a vacuum:Sous vide is a French term meaning ‘under vacuum’. All food to be cooked must first be vacuum packed. After this, it is placed in a water bath where, over low heat, it slowly heats up. The long cooking time, the precise temperature, and ensuring the food does not come into contact with the water mean the food’s natural flavours and nutrients are retained.
