This IP68 rated fixture can be used underwater, on land or without the mount as a well light. It is completely waterproof, thanks to wire glands, a fully-potted wire entrance and a pressure-fit gasket (note: must be tightened in a star pattern) - but its heat dissipation is so efficient that it can also be used on land to illuminate walkways, gardens or architectural features. Or omit the mount to easily transform this fixture into a well light for uplighting columns, trees, walls and more. It features a cold forged brass faceplate that is less porous than cast brass and better suited to underwater conditions, a heavy brass mount for stability, and a durable PVC body. This fixture is designed and optimized for use with an easly-replaceable MR16 bulb (not included) rated up to 35 watts. A 25-foot 18AWG lead wire is included. This fixture is UL/cUL listed and backed by our lifetime warranty. As with all 12V fixtures, a low voltage transformer (not included) is required for operation.
