The slip end is only compatible with copper or CPVC while the non-slip end is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE SDR-9. No need for soldering, glue, or additional tools; pipe connector can be installed in wet lines
- NO PEX TUBE LINER: With no PEX pipe tube liner required, SharkBite Max plumbing fittings eliminate flow restriction when used on Copper/CPVC; ideal for adding an expansion tank to an existing line
