VCNO — Voltage Controlled Noise Oscillator — produces a complete spectrum of pure white noise, using analog components and logic integrated circuits to form a Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) algorithm. Noise comes in multiple flavors, and you’re given three alternate styles: Screech, Sizzle, and Tear, each of which features dedicated outputs, and GearNuts’s synthesists are impressed with the sonic-texturing possibilities of their simultaneous use.
