Made of Tool Steel, this newly designed guiding tap wrench with a detachable spinning cap (tail of this cap can be hold in a 1/2" capacity drill chuck on a mill or a lathe machine) offers a better control on concentric run out in a manual or machine tapping operation. The jaws are made of alloy steel grade EN31 which are Hardened. Used for threading a drilled hole at a machine location, without actually moving the work piece. Tapping accessory for drill presses & lathes. Ensures identical center-line of the tap & the drilled hole. Designed to offer a range of tap holding capacities and are available to buy individually or sets. Slip proof knurled grip to rotate the cap to tighten the desired taps.
