We have optimized moisture content for rapid colonization and consistent performance, not aesthetics or appearance. We guarantee that our grain is properly hydrated, completely sterile, and will colonize rapidly. Shake well once you see a golf ball sizes chunk of mycelium for rapid colonization and best performance. This is a box of 6 bags. Each bag has 3 lbs of hydrated sterilized sorghum grain, for a total of 18 lbs of sterilized hydrated grain. Each bag comes with an injection port, a 0.3 micron filter, and is made of 3 mil plastic. The bag is gusseted and the dimensions of the bag is 18 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 4 inches thick. The volume of the grain is approximately 2 quarts or 1.8 liters per bag.
