The spotted effect on the sole means that it is made of at least 8% Nike Grind - a material made from scraps from shoe processing. Integrated cords on the laces provide a secure fit, while the inner lining wraps around the medial area like a second skin. The upper combines mesh, synthetic leather and fabric materials to provide durability and breathability. The rubber tread with tapered dowels makes your uphill and downhill supports more effective, while offering traction on rocky trails. The thick material on the tip adds extra strength. This product has been responsibly designed with recycled materials from industrial and/or post-consumer waste. One of the most important steps on our path to eliminating waste and carbon emissions is choosing our materials, as they represent more than 70% of the impact of any product. Reusing existing plastics, yarns and fabrics, we significantly reduce emissions. Our goal is to use as much recycled materials as possible without compromising performance, durability and style.
