Product Information
- (10) Corby Bolt Fasteners USA Size (Select Above) | CKK Industries designed Corby Bolts are used for all types of knife and tool handle construction. You’ll see them in use on steak knives, chef knives, butcher knives, traditional hunting knives, and many others. They work very well for cutlery repair and new handle creation.
- Head Diameter = (Select Above) (ea.) | Head Length =(Select Above) (ea.) | Corby Bolts are used to fasten a set of handle scales on to the tang of a knife or tool. They work by passing through the handle tang and handle material layers and creating a “pinch” effect. Corby Bolts feature differential head and shaft diameters. The head of each side of the Corby Bolt assembly is slightly larger than the shaft diameter. This creates the “pinch point” when used with a “stepped” pre-drilled hole.
- Shank Diameter = (Select Above) | Shank Length = (Select Above) | Corby Bolts can be sanded off like normal pin stock to create a seamless transition between handle material and fastener. When sanded correctly, they will be indistinguishable from regular pins. Corby Bolts can be used with any type of handle material, with or without liner material layers. They are truly versatile handle fasteners. They also work well for knife and tool repair.
- Overall Length (min.) = (Select Above) | Overall Length (max) = (Select Above) | CKK Industries Corby Bolts are designed in the U.S.A. and fit American standard cutlery part sizes. Our head and shank diameters are created around American standard drill and hole sizes. We also offer matched step drills for each of our Corby Bolt sizes to help you create the perfect mounting hole.
- Thread = US (Select Above) | Driver = (Select Above) | Material = (Select Above) | Our U.S.A. designed Corby Bolts are offered in three standard materials. We feature Stainless Steel, Brass, and Aluminum 2-part Corby Bolt assemblies. These material types are the most common for knife handle construction and will match most commercial and custom handle finishes when replacing or repairing.
