Our window screen frame kit comes with everything you need to get started on your screen frame replacements. Each kit contains 25 screen frame lengths of 95-in and 100 outside square-cut screen frame corners (contact Metro directly for miter-cut screen frame kits). Choose your frame thickness and frame color, combine with your choice of screen mesh fabric (not included), and you’ll be ready to replace your screen.
The thickness of the frame is determined by the U-channel the window screen frame will slide into. Usually, you want to select a screen frame about 1/16-in narrower than the channel that holds the window screen. If the screen is fastening to the outside of the window, such as an older single- or double-hung wooden window, then you may choose any thickness.
Our window screen frame kit is slightly bowed to retain screen tension when installed. Made out of 0.020-in roll-formed aluminum, it is used by glass shops, contractors, apartment complexes, universities and schools, handymen, window cleaning services, and window screen shops.
