SPICY: This classic spicy scent has warm and inviting twist. The sweet notes of saffron and Clove blend the floral Rose and Patchouli together for a light and diffusive scent. AROMATIC: Benzoin oil has a sweet, warm and vanilla-like aroma that is used as a base note. Benzoin is an ingredient rich in scents, which unfolds in multiple facets. It is a raw material whose smell is very vanilla, warm and sweet. It has a much more assertive vanilla character, very sweet. With its milky, syrupy nuances and its cocoa butter facet, benzoin brings a lot of roundness and warmth to a composition. That’s why it is mainly found in oriental, amber or gourmand accords. LEATHERY: Leather perfume notes and accords evoke a real or imaginary scent of leather, playing on our memories and connotations. Leather is combined with saffron to evoke suede, and spices to play off against the smokiness. Nothing is off limits in a leather once a sufficient dose of smoke, tar and/or lighter leather notes of a suede are present. WOODY: Deep, dark, earthy and present in plenty of Ambrée perfumes, patchoulis still got a hippie-dippy aura, even now. Amazingly, from those fragile-looking leaves comes a sweet, spicy, smoky, cedar-y scent so powerful it must be handled with care: patchouli is the most powerful of any plant-derived essence. Patchouli oil has an intense aroma, a combination of musk and earthiness, that’s also mildly sweet and minty. It smells a bit like wet soil or a cold, dark basement.
