Are they completely sealed, or do I have to refill them with liquid?
The hard ice packs are pre-filled with a safe gel and are completely sealed.
How long does it take for them to freeze in the freezer and how long will it keep the food cold?
It will freeze within 2.5 hours and lasts up to 10 hours if put in coolers or insulated bags, depending on the type of lunch bag and room temperature. Freeze the ice blocks the night before use for maximum cooling power.
Will these get through the TSA when traveling by airplane?
Our long-lasting ice packs can be brought through TSA security checkpoints when FULLY frozen. If they are partially or fully melted, they need to be transported in check-in luggage.
