One of our favorite shop items, the PLINT A/S Galvanized Metal Watering Can is made with thicker iron plates than regular watering cans. Our cans feature stronger welds and a rough finish. PLINT A/S galvanized metal watering cans will last for years and potentially be the last can you'll ever need! Each metal watering can is hot galvanized by immersion in a zinc alloy that is 460 degrees. The zinc adheres to the iron as a thick syrup. When the jug comes up again, it hangs and drips for 20 minutes. After the zinc dip, the galvanized metal watering can is colored, hung on hooks, and run through a powder coating tunnel. This step is where the paint adheres to the hot-dip galvanized zinc layer. Each watering can receive its desirable and characteristic surface texture and color during this step! This process is also the best way to prevent the iron from rusting. This process also assures the longest life span of your watering can.
