- A torque wrench is required. Don't use air or impact wrenches.
Improper usage may cause lug nuts/bolts to break or loosen while driving, which will take potentially accidents or injuries. Be sure to torque the lug nuts to manufacturer specifications.
- Re-torque all lug nuts after 50-100 miles of driving, then again after 2-3,000 miles. Tip: Ensuring that all mating surfaces are properly cleaned before re-torquing.
