At Stain Pad, we believe that every project deserves a perfect finish. That is why Stain Pad is the only wood finish applicator designed by woodworkers specifically for fine wood finishing. The Cut-to-Size design allows you to customize to pad to the project. Each pad is 6 inches by 8 inches and is typically cut into 6-8 applicators. Cut a larger applicator for bigger projects or cut it smaller to fit into the opening of your stain can. You can also cut the applicator at less than a 90 degree angle to easily get into corners. Stain Pad is ideal for furniture, cabinets and all your wood projects. It can be used with all wood stain finishes including, but not limited to; Gel Stains, Wax Finishes, Oil and Water based products, Polyurethane, Shellac, and Varnish. Its loop-less design resists snagging on wood fibers and provides a consistent streak free finish. After you finish with your applicator, simply let it dry and then throw it away. Its open cell foam allows the pad to dry out quickly making it less susceptible to spontaneous combustion.
