You can just buy one of our premium Apple Boxes, packed with our homegrown, juicy Blondee apples, which are known as a “yellow Gala”. Kauffman Orchards is a family-owned small business in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, established back in 1915 with a vision to provide the local community with fresh, nutritious fruit that enhances quality of life for the American consumer. Today, the orchard is managed by the 4th and 5th generations of Kauffmans and still follows that goal, raising Nutrient-Dense fruit that has enhanced vitamins, minerals, and flavor.

Snacking and Salads – A cousin of the famous Gala apple and ripening about the same time, Blondee is an early-season yellow-skinned apple. Blondee apples are sweet and are a good match for baking, applesauce, and salads. They hold their shape when they’re cooked and keep well in refrigeration. This Apple Box contains premium, Nutrient-Dense, non-GMO, non-waxed Blondee apples, and each apple has soft, high-density foam surrounding it to ensure protection during shipping. The 8-count box holds approximately 2.5-3 lb. of fresh apples; the 16-count box, approximately 5-6 lb. (about a peck by volume); the 48-count box, approximately 15-18 lb. (about 3/5 bushel).

Shipping Information – We pack your Apple Box with fresh apples that are highest quality, and we use shipping methods that provide a quick 2-3 day delivery to most of the lower 48 United States. However, we have no control over distance to your address, nor over handling and temperature during transit. Since apples sometimes ripen quickly in hot temperatures during transit, we suggest that you consider choosing 2-Day or Next-Day delivery during checkout. Refrigerate your apples upon arrival.
