- The Chinese Pistache tree is native to Central and Western China. It grows 30 to 60 feet tall and equally as wide. Its stunning vibrant orange and red leaves in the fall make this tree one of the most beautiful trees for autumn displays. The Chinese Pistache is part of the cashew and pistachio family, but it does not produce edible nuts. It is an excellent tree for shade, ornamental use, home gardens and as a street tree. Leaves are fragrant and dark green during the summer.
