- Before purchasing, check to see if the Wi-Fi thermostat you will pair with this adapter is compatible with your home and determine if your home needs a C-wire power adapter. The C-wire adapter should work for all applications in which the thermostat being replaced doesn't have a common wire and does have Y and G wires attached.
- NOTE: The C-Wire Adapter will work with multi-stage systems including heat pumps if your Wi-Fi thermostat will work with these systems; however, please follow the installation directions carefully to avoid disconnecting incorrect wires.
