- FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS on how to cure your barrel, add 1 liter of neutral spirt (vodka or grain alcohol) plus two packets of 60ml Swish Barrel essence, mix and start sampling your oak aged whisky after just 2 weeks. Pour straight from the spigot or into a glass bottle decanter to stop the oak aging process.
