Wiping a small amount of mineral oil/cornmeal/semolina flour/white flour/ dry cream of wheat on the peel is recommended so the dough slides easily
Increase its lifetime:
1. Dont expose it to water bath
2. If cant be avoided, hand wash in warm, soapy water. Sponge off any excess food or crumbs from the peel and dry immediately after wash to prevent wood grain contraction/expansion
3. Do not soak or use abrasive scrubbers. Not dishwasher safe.
4. Apply mineral oil to start and every 2 months after to maintain wood surface
