Warranty
The International Brake Industries (IBI) Product Warranty warrants Michelin serpentine and timing belts, tensioners, idlers and water pumps distributed by IBI against defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service, for a period of 1 year from shipment date. IBI’s obligation is limited to repairing or furnishing a similar replacement without charge. IBI may require the return of the defective material, transportation prepaid, to establish the claim. All claims must be made in writing. No allowances will be made for repairs or alterations without IBI’s written consent. IBI is not liable for any damage, except as specifically required by applicable law. IBI MAKES NO WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY. IBI EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty does not apply to IBI Products that have been 1) altered, abused or used for unintended purposes; 2) improperly installed, maintained or repaired or installed on a second engine or motor vehicle; 3) damaged by accident, negligence or misuse; 4) used in commercial, fleet, heavy duty, off-road, public or government vehicles; or 5) returned with missing components that were originally included in the package. This warranty applies only to Michelin serpentine and timing belts, tensioners, idlers and water pumps purchased through Amazon.com.
