This is a great Dermestid Beetle/larvae starter colony consisting of beetles, larvae, and pupa. I do not count the unseen eggs in the bedding as this is all extra! I have sold hundreds of beetles to satisfied customers, please read my reviews.The beetles/larvae may be used to clean skulls or live food for fish, reptile, or birds. The Dermestid Beetles can be placed in roach and cricket colonies to eat the waste and clean up the colony. I guarantee the colony is healthy and mite free. The colonies are kept inside the house, fed human grade raw meat, and used only for breeding.The Dermestids will be in various stages of growth. A care sheet will be included to raise a productive colony and help with skull prep after the beetles have finished cleaning. My daughter has been cleaning skulls successfully with our colony for years and has a room full of skulls. In the pictures there is an otter skull (found dead on the beach) and raccoon skull our beetles cleaned and she processed. She calls them her cleaning friends. I ship USPS priority mail and ship on Mondays for a 2-3 day arrival, usually arriving on a Wednesday or Thursday.The bedding will be full of eggs which will hatch. Please be available to accept the beetles upon delivery as, the beetles cannot sit out in extreme temperatures. The Dermestids will not stay alive over 100 degrees or under 40 degrees. - Cleaning beetles can be fed raw ground meat when animal skull cleaning is not occurring.

- Dermestid beetles are spray misted with water every 2-3 days and live in an aquarium or sterilite container. The habitat must be well ventilated I cut out the top and add 3 layers of screen.
